Clanci Cochran brings more than 10 years of nonprofit experience to her support of Carrie’s TOUCH. She is honored to serve as a board member at large for the organization co-founded by her mother, Lynne Rankin-Cochran. Lynne’s legacy is carried forward by her four children, her granddaughter, and her grandsons. Clanci is a proud sister and aunt. After graduating from Elk Grove High School, Clanci studied English at Spelman College, and became engaged in national service while spending two years as an AmeriCorps member with City Year. Clanci worked on recruitment and fundraising for City Year Seattle and Sacramento, before becoming a senior admissions manager for AmeriCorps members at Reading Partners in Oakland. Clanci continues her work at Reading Partners as a human resources professional. She is currently a graduate student at the American Baptist Seminary of the West.
